Edwin M.Knowles Soup-Gold & Red Trim Measure 8-1/4" diameter and about 1-1/2" high. 1940s. Ivory with gold pattern and gold on the outer edge, also there is a red 1/4" stripe around the inside of the bowl. Normal wear to the gold for the age of the bowl and crazing-no chips. Two of these bowls have the Knowles backstamp which reads SEMI-VITREOUS EDWIN M. KNOWLES CHINA CO. MADE IN U.S.A. 42-1" and also a gold backstamp from Harlem Crockery Co. which is a circle and the words HARLEM CROCKERY CO. WARRANTED 22 KT.GOLD. I also have one bowl which only has the Harlem backstamp. Thanks for looking!

Edwin M Knowles Yorktown Dinner Plate 10" diameter. The pattern shows orange and yellow flowerpots with flowers in them, the flowerpots are sitting on black lines. Around the edge of the plate there is a red line. Knowles backstamp reads EDWIN M KNOWLES CHINA CO MADE IN U.S.A. 41-2 under the SEMI VITREOUS pot. This plate shows normal use.
